Garrett Nelson is a young rising comedian from Louisiana whose laid-back storytelling and painfully relatable observations have helped him carve out a name across the South. His sharp writing and easy stage presence have led to him working with national touring comics like Dusty Slay, Andy Woodhull, and Kier “Junior” Spates of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

Those performances, and a reputation for winning over any room, earned Garrett victories on themed shows like Stoned/Drunk/Sober and the title of Shreveport’s 2025 Local Comedy Champion.

Garrett has appeared on Nateland, Nate Bargatze’s weekly showcase at Zanies Comedy Club. He’s continued to build his footprint with performances at Dallas Comedy Club, Sports Drink, Club 337, Rose City Comedy, and stages across the region.
